New Skoda Fabia can it tow? Need a Fabia Towbar?

Face lifted Skoda Fabia, can it tow?  Need a Fabia towbar?

Well what it’s not is an entirely new car.  This is just a facelift, which means it still rides on an older, less sophisticated VW Group platform. Due to some changes, Skoda Fabia towbars have been redesigned to suit the new bumpers.

The facelifted Fabia hatch and wagon range offer fresh looks, more tech and nicer trims.

The Fabia has received a mild exterior refresh, including the front grille, headlights and bumpers, along with the option of 18-inch alloys (hatch only) for the first time. Changes for the facelifted Fabia are limited to new front- and rear-fascias (both optionally featuring LED lighting for the first time), better standard equipment across all grades, additional active safety technology and an engine line-up that does entirely without diesels.

Inside, the little Skoda gains a redesigned instrument cluster – which the company claims improves legibility – while there are "higher-quality materials" and "new decors" throughout the cabin.

Like all Skodas, the face-lifted Fabia is entirely fit for purpose and not the least bit pretentious. And it’s comfortable and cheap.

But can the facelifted Fabia tow?  Skoda has rated the 2018-2019 Fabia at a maximum of 1200kgs - not bad for a small car.

We have a full range of Skoda towbars, specifically designed to fit the new Fabia, both hatch and wagon.  Look no further for a towbar for the Fabia hatch, or a towbar for the new Skoda wagon.
