Our tow bars are made in Europe and have full European approval e/E. Your tow bar is certified to the highest standards (94/20/EC commonly referred to as EC type approval = starting with 'e' on the tow bar plate; and/or ECE 55/01 - also compliant with Australian Design Standard ADR 62/02) = starting with 'E' on the tow bar plate).

Our tow bars are all designed using 3D technologies and undergo computer simulations to verify any weak points and to study the dynamics of the structure when driving. Every design has to undergo a stress test of at least two million cycles.

Great product. I opted to install it myself. YouTube provided the information I needed for the specifics on removing the rear bumper bar… easy. Supplied components are top quality. Fit perfectly. The wiring instructions were clear. I was a bit nervous about measuring and cutting the hole in the bumper bar for the gooseneck of the bar to poke through but it worked fine. I had an issue when reversing the trailer that the emergency brakes would slam on because the sensors thought I was reversing into something. I sent an email to etowbars and within a couple of hours I had a reply advising me that there is a setting in the Skoda vehicle setup to disable this emergency function when towing. I’ve towed my trailer numerous times and everything works perfectly. I’m glad I opted for the removable gooseneck version. It’s quick and easy to setup and remove. I don’t crack my shins on the towball when I’m not towing. I’m very happy with the product and the service.
