Eye-catching, head-turning, bold - when you drive the Ignis, prepare to get noticed.
From every angle it radiates a unique personality and presence, from the exterior detailing to the funky colour options.

The Suzuki Ignis undeniably stands out in a sea of fairly boring, samey-looking small cars - it manages to look cute and tough at the same time.

The updated Suzuki Ignis measures in at 1660mm wide, 1595mm tall, and 3700mm long with a 2435mm wheelbase.

The facelift includes a visual redesign of the grille along with the front and rear bumpers, giving the diminutive SUV a gruff appearance despite its small footprint.

That nip and tuck has increased sales substantially - the rugged look screams SUV rather than just a small car like its predecessor.

But, don't be fooled by its ultra-compact size - the Ignis has plenty of flexible luggage space.  The Ignis boasts luggage space volume measuring 514L when the sliding rear seats are folded down. The 50:50 split rear seats can be folded down from the boot as well. Powering the entire 2022 Suzuki Ignis range is a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder producing 66kW of power and 120Nm of torque.

This is sent to the front wheels exclusively through a choice of a five-speed manual or a continuously-variable transmission (CVT).

In some markets, the Ignis is available with a 48V mild-hybrid system for better fuel efficiency and small bursts of extra performance, as well as all-wheel drive - ALL GRIP.

While the tiny size may leave many to doubt its off-road credentials, the small SUV has a competent 180mm of ground clearance and has its wheels pushed right out to the corners allowing for a respectable approach and departure angle of 20 and 38 degrees respectively. Enough to tackle most gravel roads on your weekend away.

The Ignis doesn’t disappoint when it comes to interior practicality, as its upright silhouette gives loads of passenger space for something so short as well as a decent boot. Plenty of glass and a minimalist interior also make it feel very bright and airy inside, too, something that can’t always be said about some of its rivals' cramped, dark cabin

Inside, everything’s very well-positioned and legible. Suzuki positions the touchscreen infotainment system high up on the dashboard where it’s easily viewable, and the simple climate controls immediately under that.  Suzuki uses a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system that’s a bit dated in terms of ease of use and functionality, nothing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto cannot overcome.
