New-BMW-4-Series-Towbars-G22

BMW's new two-door 4-series ushers in a controversial new design. The second-generation G22 is on the roads but can it tow? Need a towbar for your new BMW 4-Series?

The 4-series finally catches up to the 3-series for 2021 with a clean-sheet redesign and bolder exterior styling.

For the new 4 Series, a lot has changed - not just the styling. It’s a bigger car this time: a massive 128mm longer and 27mm wider than before. BMW’s stretched the wheelbase, but the tracks are wider too: 18mm up front, and 28mm out back. That gives the car a punchier stance and should be good news for the handling.

Despite the longer wheelbase and extra width, the 4 Series is not what you’d call ‘a proper four-seater’. The rear screen eats too far into headroom in the back for that: they’re for occasional child use only. The boot now offers 440 litres of space.  Need more cargo space - why not fit a towbar.

Inside, the new 4 Series receives a familiar-looking layout with the latest evolution of BMW’s layered dashboard from the 3 Series, complete with a standard 12.3-inch digital instrument and 10.3-inch infotainment displays. The latter of which can be operated either via a standard rotary controller or touch commands, as well as optional speech and gesture controls.

Overall, the interior features much higher standards of material and overall finish than that of the old model. That's all in keeping with the German carmaker’s efforts to not only provide it with a more sporting feel but a higher level of perceived luxury as well.

Love it or hate it - you decide. If you need to tow or just take your bikes with you, we have you covered.  Why not fit an Invisible detachable towbar to your new G22 4-series.
