Can the small VW SUV tow?  Need a towbar for your T-Cross?

 

The VW T-Cross is a small SUV which surprisingly spacious inside and is equally generous with the levels of standard kit it comes with. So, as an easy-to-drive and practical family car, the VW T-Cross makes a great choice - plus the towing capacity is reasonable for its size.

 

VW’s smallest SUV to-date rides on the MQB platform, uses the same three-cylinder engines and is built in the same Spanish factory as the Polo, but is 54mm longer and 138mm taller. You sit 100mm higher up.

 

VW claims it’s the most spacious and practical car in its class.

 

You’ll have no problem fitting in the front of the T-Cross if you’re tall. Legroom is as generous and being a high-roofed SUV, there’s plenty of headroom as well.

 

Every model offers the flexibility of sliding rear seats.  The boot capacity is 385 litres. That’s bigger than many of its rivals - it is enough for a pram or a decent haul of holiday luggage and, if you slide the seats forward, expands to 455 litres.  Need more room or to lug some bikes on your next trip, then just fit a T-cross towbar.
