The EV9 is a large seven-seat EV SUV aimed at large families.  Can the EV9 tow? Maximum towing capacity of the EV9? Need a KIA EV9 Towbar?

The newest Kia EV9 seven-seat family electric SUV is guaranteed to turn heads.  It is huge, measuring 5 metres long and nearly 2 metres wide and weighs about the same as a Lancruiser.
It can comfortably carry up to seven people and has a max driving range of over 500 kms with its largest battery - it is the equivalent size and performance of the EQS SUV, but at half the price.

With the second and third rows of seats stowed, the Kia EV9 turns into a van with an almost flat floor.
The second row can be lowered at the press of two buttons, while the third row can be lowered by pulling two fabric tabs.
There are air vents for all three rows of occupants – including in the roof for passengers in rows two and three.
Great for large families!

Boot space depends on how many rows are in use.
333L with seven seats in use, expanding to 828L in a five-seat configuration and a va- like 2318L with the second and third rows folded.
Need to carry more or take your bikes along, why not install our Invisible Kia EV9 towbar?  Towing is a breeze with the weight and power of the EV9.  Kia has rated the EV9 at a max of 2500kgs - check your specifications as it does depend on your model.

The EV9 introduces a new interior design philosophy - simplicity, airiness and space.

The seats are extremely comfortable, like sitting on the lounge in your home. The base models have heated and ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel, while the GT-Line adds Premium Relaxation Seats including power leg rests up front and a driver massage function.

The infotainment system is a standard affair, including AM/FM and digital radio as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and embedded navigation.

These are accessed via a horizontal 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen which, positioned alongside a 5.0-inch display for the air-conditioning controls, and another 12.3-inch screen for the digital instrument cluster, creates the impression of one large curved display across more than half the dashboard.

The Air and Earth models have an eight-speaker audio system. The top-of-the-range GT-Line has a 14-speaker Meridian audio system.

The EV9 is full of technology, including digital side mirrors and fingerprint authentication, which allows users to start the car with a fingerprint reader. It will also allow the selection of driver profiles linked to your unique genetic code.

Battery size depends on the model the Air has a 76.1kWh battery, while the Earth and GT-Line have an upgraded 99.8kWh one.

Acceleration of the base Kia EV9 Air is 0–100km/h in 8.2 seconds.  The dual electric motors and all-wheel drive allow the Earth 0–100km/h in 6.0 seconds, and the GT-Line is even faster when Sport mode is selected, a cool 0–100km/h in 5.3 seconds.

Driving range (WLTP) and charge times depend on the model and charger - estimated figures are:
Air: 443km
Earth: 512km
GT-Line: 505km

Charge time (11kW)
Air: 7h 41min
Earth, GT-Line: 10h 04min

Charge time (50kW)
Air: 1h 53min
Earth, GT-Line: 2h 13min

Charge time (350kW max rate)
Air: 15min (claimed 10–80%)
Earth, GT-Line: 25min (claimed 10–80%)

The Kia EV9 has a full suite of advanced safety technology:

Autonomous emergency braking with junction assistance
Blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert
Lane-keeping assistance
Radar cruise control
Tyre pressure monitors (valve type)
Nine airbags including a centre airbag between the front seats, 'curtain' airbag coverage for all three rows of seats, and seat-mounted side airbags for the first two rows of seats
Speed-sign recognition
Driver fatigue monitoring
Rear-view camera (360-degree camera on Earth and GT-Line)
Front and rear parking sensors

The EV9 is extremely quiet, thanks to additional sound-absorbing layers in the floor, foam-insulated EV-specific tyres and laminated glass on both the front and rear doors.  Kia claims the EV9 is around 3-4dBA quieter than the Model Y, and 1-2dBA quieter than the Audi and Jaguar for road noise and constant speed noise.

Kia also touted the EV9’s aerodynamic performance, which helps improve EV range and reduce wind noise. Despite its boxy design the Kia EV9 quotes a drag coefficient of just 0.28Cd, which matches the outgoing Audi e-tron SUV and betters the Jaguar I-Pace (0.29Cd).
