“ Just installed this towbar on my BMW 2006 330i. Wonderful product. Very high quality and all necessary parts were included. It is however visible, so if you would rather not see the hitch, I would recommend paying a bit more to get the fully concealed version of this product. Also, customer service here is amazing. Super friendly, informative, and quick to respond. „

“ Some cutting of the rear bumper was required and this was not expected. Pedro and Arion were superb and really did a great job of finishing the job to a perfect standard. Unfortunately, some XF lower diffusers do require a small trim - the fitting guides show the approximate areas that could block access to connecting the ball to the main chassis. The majority are Invisible and only undercladding is required to be removed. „

“ To my fellow ...BMW 750 drivers who cycle: This towbar is a work of art/science. Literally invisible when not in use. Purchased a European towbar mounted bike rack from Thule to go with this towbar/hitch and it is simply the easiest system to install/remove that I have ever used for carrying bikes (and I’ve been carrying bikes on 7 series BMWs since 2003). Just insert the towbar into it’s receiver. Click. The drop the bike rack on to the ball mount and press down the lever lock. Boom, your done. No struggling to insert/slide an awkward bike rack into a rusty, dirty receiver and ratchet tight an anti-sway bolt. The towbar mount allows you to immediately drop the weight onto the ball mount. No bending over trying to guide the bike rack into the receiver. Check out the Thule towbar mounted bike racks. ..... Have your BMW dealer’s body shop install it for warranty peace of mind. Superior design, engineering, functionality/ease of use. Not cheap, but neither was your BMW! Well worth it to an avid biker who doesn’t want to drive around in an SUV all the time. „

The towbar arrived within a week of ordering and was in perfect condition when it arrived. My VW dealer fitted the bar without any issues. When the towball is not attached it really is invisible. “ All parts of the towbar fitted well and mounting was relatively straightforward. Electrics proved more challenging - although 7 pin wiring provided this was to EU standard (separate L/R circuit) not Oz but managed to get working correctly in the end. End result looks neat with removable ball. „

“ Most impressed with the speed of delivery, and the fit and finish of the towbar. The directions for wiring were hard to follow, being symbols only. Some written notes would certainly help. I was lucky enough to have a BMW mechanic friend help me fit it, but without professional help it's a daunting DIY project. Many thanks, Tim Knappstein „

“ Very easy to fit the actual tower, the kit included a harness and interface box, however I elected to buy an OEM VW towbar harness as my vehicle had the "towbar preparation" wiring already in place. Add the mandatory programming by VW and the OEM VW harness, there goes $700 plus. Then I had to buy a Euro 13 pin to inline 7 pin harness for another $110. Did my first small tow yesterday moving a Series 1 Land Rover on a car trailer and the Crafter did it so easy, next test is towing the Land Rover 850kms to my rural property. „

“ Towbar was fitted by third party today,wiring supplied was not used nobody could work out the need for the computer,we relize this is for the reverse sensors and electronic issues with various types of towing packages,the 7 pin flat plug is standard for Australia,no fault there by you only a consideration.The wiring pictures were very complex to work out with numbers everywhere,and little information to what the numbers referred to. Packaging was excellent and fabrication detail was first class. „

“ My EURO Tow bar experience has been nothing but positive to date.. The packaging on arrival was impressive and the fitting company (McClures at Broken Hill) we’re very impressed on its construction and it’s strong design in attaching to my Mercedes chassis points. It started its first journey today and the electrics and connection and chain points worked perfectly.. I have the connector plug lead coming from the boot (not connected to the body). The tow bar cannot be seen when the tow ball has been removed.. A great product 10/10 EURO Tow bars Glenn „

“ Installation guide fairly easy to follow, towbar bolted straight on to the chasiss, and rear sensor for the tailgate bolted back onto it, so that still works. Feed socket cable through grommet at RHS at this point. 7 pin socket would not swing up, hits rear bumper, bracket has to be extended by 50 mm to move socket back. The Hardest part was taking the rear bumper off the car. Wiring loom for LHS taillights was too short, had to extend that. Loom for RHS taillight was too long. Otherwise connecting the wires to the right BMW wires was straightforward, and it all works. Control box mounted next to RHS Fuse Box. Just need to find PDC controller and disable that on reverse using pink wire, and enable hitch zoom on rear camera. Car tows perfectly, no idea there is anything on the back. The Towbar ball height is 400mm to top of ball. etowbars replied: The towbar is now shipped with 2 wiring plug brackets. One standard and 1 50mm longer - to enable use with various bumper designs. „
