“ Ordering was easy and simple. impressed with the delivery as well, all the way from Poland to Australia in just over a week. The tow bar was fitted with no problem, but the only small issue was that the electrics had to be replaced with an Australian standard unit. All in all, it looks great and very discreet - -------------------REPLY----------------- Thanks for your feedback. We include a round 7 Pin plug so as to take advantage of the hideaway bracket. If you prefer a flat/rectangular 7 Pin plug - you an pick up a plastic flat socket for a couple of bucks and connect to the provided kit - couple of minutes work. Alternatively, if you wish to have the socket hide/swing under the bumper when not in use, you can pick up an adapter from Bunnings „

“ The towbar is great: just what I wanted. I love the way it can be removed so easily. However, there are three things that would have made the shopping experience better. # it would be good to be able to talk to someone about the towbar before making the purchase. The personal touch always makes shopping online for such an expensive investment more reassuring. # the video showing how to fit the ball into the towbar is not accurate for Australia at least, and should be removed from the website. # it would have been useful if you'd been able to recommended an installer in Hobart so I would be reassured that I would be in safe hands. In the end I had the towbar installed by Pedders here in Hobart. As it turned out there weren't any problems and Pedders installed the towbar and actually charged less than quoted so perhaps you could add them to your list of recommended installers. -------REPLY----------- Glad the towbar met your expectations. We are an online retailer, so email is our primary form of contact. We'd love to chat with everyone, but unfortunately we do not have the resources :( We are very quick to respond to emails though :) The video showing how to attach and detach the towbar is accurate and product dependent, always the same - the same for Sydney, London, Paris and Timbuktu. We have recommended fitting partners all over Australia - Hobart is not yet on our list, but thanks for the heads up. „

“ Absolutely phenominal service from E-Towbars. From the first email to the last, they were amazing; very responsive and very helpful. Pete was amazing; nothing I asked him was a problem. The parcel was sent within 3 days of placing the order. Delivery from Poland to Australia was via Fedex Priority, and only took 3-4 days to arrive in-country. However, FEDEX in Australia was a big disappointment. After chasing Fedex 4 times it was finally delivered. The delivery within Australia took literally twice as long as the order process, communications, and dispatch process from Poland to Australia, which is ridiculous. Anyway, the tow bar is now fitted and all is good. Ignoring the Fedex in-country fiasco, which is out of E-Towbars hands, if you need a legitimate European car towbar, don't hesitate to use E-Towbars; you won't be disappointed. „

I can say that the tow bar is excellent quality, is easy to use, and exactly what I wanted. The fitment was very quick, professional and also helpful. Only downside is that PayPal is not offered as a payment method. „

“ Took a few more days to arrive than anticipated but arrived in (just under 2 weeks from memory) in perfect condition, complete with absolutely everything needed. I installed myself, the instructions said to remove a significant section of the rear diffuser. I installed without removing any section of the rear diffuser. I then trimmed just a very small amount as required. End result, with the removable tongue removed, the plug swings up, the tow bar is completely invisible. No evidence of a tow bar at all. The tongue is easily installed when you want to use it. The wiring came with an ecu to not upset the car which I used. All the lights work and no issues at all. When reversing I need to turn off my parking sensors, which I imagine is the same with any tow bar for the car. Overall, it is perfect, exactly what I wanted, I am very happy with the decision to buy it. “ This was a delightful experience after being ripped off by a previous business, claiming to do towbars for our car. After 2 trips there (400km each) then refusal to refund deposit, we found etowbars. Purchased easily through the website, they rang us to check our requirements. We waited a minimal time to have it fitted in Melbourne at our daughter's home. The fitters were delightful young men, explained keys, detaching, and anything else we could think of. We would definitely recommend them. „
